Located about 6 miles north and east of East Lansing, this rural community offer easy access into town and a small town feel for those who want to know their neighbors. The center of Bath is about a 10-15 minute drive to groceries, restaurants, and just a few miles north of 1-69 with easy access on and off the freeway. Almost 100 years later, Bath is probably still best know for the Bath School Disaster, a horrendous event in 1927 during which a local crazy man blew up the school, eventually killing himself and 44 people.
